Apple IPad 3 2012

A report has surfaced that states the new Apple IPad 3 will be released in 2012.The report notes that the listed screen resolution is significantly higher than its predecessor's 1024x768. Ahead of the iPad 2 launch, it was speculated that the second generation device would include a 2048x1536 display.

In June, it was reported that Samsung and LG are in competition to develop a HD screen for the next iteration of the iPad.
