Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis are to return for "substantial roles" in the Expendables follow-up.
Simon West will be directing the actors in the sequel to the action superhero film, according to Deadline.
Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Mickey Rourke are also to reprise their roles.
The two action stars appeared briefly in the first film, which was directed by Stallone.
John Travolta, Chuck Norris and Jean Claude Van Damme have also reportedly been in talks to join the lineup.
David Varod, head of the Bulgarian NU Boyana studios, confirmed in July hat the film will begin production this month.
However, Schwarzenegger is also committed to shooting the comeback vehicle The Last Stand.
