Susan Hill originally wrote the book in 1983. The book/film centres around the character played by Daniel Radcliffe. Having the film partly made by Hammer Films will hopefully give it the dark creepy feel it deserves as they are masters at it.
"There are those who believe the whole town is cursed, but the house in the marsh is by far the worst," a young female voiceover informs viewers.
Radcliffe previously said that the James Watkins-directed film was a "character-driven horror film, along the lines of The Orphanage or The Others".
The Woman In Black, which also stars Ciarán Hinds and Psychoville's Janet McTeer, opens in cinemas in February 2012.
